About
Born and bought up in Guwahati, passed MBBS in 1999 from GMC, than worked in Dr. Norman Tunnel Hospital, Jowai for 3 years as resident doctor. Completed DGO from GMC in 2005, than served in Dr Norman Tunnel Hospital, Jowai as Consultant Gynaecologist till 2018. Gained a lot of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology during this period.

- Trained in Laparoscopy from VG Hospital Coimbatore and World Laparoscopy Hospital Gurgaon.
- Trained in colposcopy from Life Care, Delhi.
- Trained in LAPAROSCOPIC RADICAL HYSTERECTOMY from GALAXY CARE HOSPITAL, PUNE under Dr. Sailesh Puntambekar.

Participated and presented papers in various National and zonal conferences. Presented papers in:
NEOGSCON SHILLONG, AICOG AHMEDABAD, EAST ZONE YUVA FOGSI SHILLONG, NORTH EAST ENDOGYN CONCLAVE GUWAHATI etc.

- Recipient of “I PLEDGE FOR 9 ACHIEVERS AWARD 2018, under PMSMA (Pradhan Mantri Swakshit Matritya Ayojana) from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
- Awardee of Recognition from the Health Department, Govt of Meghalaya for service in the rural areas and contribution towards PMSMA in the rural areas of Meghalaya.
