The Anaesthesia department at Health City provides world-class anesthetic services for all surgical specialties within the hospital, in addition to 24-hour on-call emergency cover. Equipped with state of the art operation theatres and intensive care units with all the modern medical gadgets and supporting staff. The department has a well equipped library with textbooks, journals and periodicals.

Each specialist anaesthetizes around 1200 each year. Also regular training programs are arranged for trainees of the department in order to upgrade themselves. The department is also well equipped to deal with the critical care procedures.
