It is my joy and privilege to bring warm greetings from Health City Hospital to the people of North East on our 3rd Foundation Day.
Health City Hospital started its OPD on 17th October 2017, and the Inpatient Services from February 2018 During the first month of operation we had about 35 Inpatients daily, and today it has grown to 150 patients daily.
At present we are empanelled with almost all North Eastern States, all major corporates, and tie up with all insurance companies. During this last 24 months, we have made a very remarkable progress, which I want to bring to the notice of the people of North East.
We have accident and emergency service running round the clock. We have the best Cardiovascular Department in North East, doing almost 50 open-heart surgeries a month, and a Cardiac Catheterisation Lab doing all forms of intervention like Angioplasty, RF Ablation, Valvuloplasty. Our Cath Lab is performing primary PTCA in the middle of the night also.
We have 80 bedded Intensive Care Unit, having every facilities to monitor all parameters. We have 24/7 blood bank facility, which is recognised by NABH. It provides services like whole blood, fresh frozen plasma, Platelets, Cryoprecipitate. We have started Apheresis, which will enable us to start new modalities of treatment.
I can confidently present our Cancer Care Unit, with the best Radiotherapy machine available in the country, and at present 55-60 patients are treated daily. We have one of best team for Cancer Surgery and Chemotherapy. Our Neuro Surgery OT is equipped with Neuro Navigation System and most advanced Microscope, and being led by one of the most experienced Neuro Surgeon in the region.
Besides this we have all other super specialities, including Urology, Nephrology with Dialysis, to provide the best comprehensive treatment under one roof.
2 Yrs period is a very short period in the life of a hospital, but because of the faith imposed upon us by the people of North East, we are able to deliver so much in such a short period.
