About Dr. Sasanka Baruah

Dr. Sasanka Baruah brings over 25 years of extensive experience in clinical and interventional cardiology. A graduate of Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (MBBS, 1993), he completed his MD in Internal Medicine from Assam Medical College in 1999, followed by a DNB in Cardiology in 2004. He is the first cardiologist in North-East India to be awarded the DNB in Cardiology, marking a significant milestone in the region’s medical landscape.

Renowned for his patient-centric approach and clinical precision, Dr. Baruah maintains the highest standards of ethical medical practice. His transparent communication, accurate diagnosis, and commitment to evidence-based treatment have earned the trust of thousands of patients and their families across the region.
